Kuwait has concluded a contract worth $367 million with Turkish defence firm Baykar to buy its TB2 drones through direct negotiations between the two governments, the Kuwaiti army said in a statement on Tuesday. The statement did not reveal how many drones would be delivered to Kuwait or when. A battalion of special forces has been deployed in Kosovo upon request of NATO Allied Joint Force Command amid rising tensions recently, Anadolu Agency reports. The first battalion affiliated to the 65th Mechanized Infantry Brigade Command (Lüleburgaz) arrived in Kosovo in vehicles at the weekend. The second part of the special forces departed from Çorlu military airport and arrived at “Adem Jashari” International Airport in Pristina yesterday.
