President Erdoğan visits “Turkish Soldiers: Soldiers of Victory Exhibition” held by Anadolu Agency

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visited the "Turkish Soldiers: Soldiers of Victory Exhibition" held by the Anadolu Agency.

President Erdoğan was welcomed by Governor Kübra Güran Yiğitbaşı and other officials at the Afyonkarahisar Airport Command, where he arrived for the 100th Anniversary of the Great Offensive and the Mass Opening Ceremony.

Afterwards, along with the Minister of National Defence Hulusi Akar, Chief of General Staff Gen. Yaşar Güler, and force commanders, President Erdoğan headed to the hangar where the Turkish Soldiers: Soldiers of Victory Exhibition" was held by the Anadolu Agency.

Greeting the ceremonial squad, President Erdoğan was welcomed by Anadolu Agency’s (AA) Chairman of the Board and Director-General Serdar Karagöz at the entrance of the exhibition area.

After being briefed by Karagöz about the photographs in the exhibition, President Erdoğan examined each photograph in the exhibition area.

At the end of the visit, Minister of National Defence Hulusi Akar presented President Erdoğan with the book "Turkish Soldiers: Soldiers of Victory," featuring photographs from the exhibition.

President Erdoğan, Minister of National Defence Hulusi Akar, Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun, Anadolu Agency (AA) Chairman of the Board and Director-General Serdar Karagöz and Governor Yiğitbaşı posed for a souvenir photo at the end of the visit.

A special collection from among 45 thousand shots

As part of Anadolu Agency's special cooperation with the Ministry of National Defence for the units of the Turkish Armed Forces serving in the country and across the border, 39 photojournalists captured 45,000 pictures in 60 different locations.

In addition, 29 cameramen who took part in the project captured 600 hours of high-quality footage using cutting-edge technology such as underwater cameras and drones. As part of the six-month-long effort, 36 reporters also prepared special news regarding the project.
