President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.  The phone conversation was held upon Macron’s request.  The developments in the region, in particular Libya and Syria, and bilateral relations were discussed during the conversation.

Director of Communications, Fahrettin Altun stated that the Presidency's Communication Center (CIMER) received 3 million 138 thousand 233 applications last year. President Erdoğan talks to US President Trump over phone

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan talked to US President Donald Trump over phone. During the phone conversation, bilateral issues as well as regional developments, particularly the recent situation in Libya and Syria were discussed. President Erdoğan stated that they followed the attacks targeting American security units in Iraq with concern and sorrow, and welcomed the end of these attacks against the US Embassy.
