The Directorate of Communications organised a panel titled "A Fairer World is Possible" in Madrid, the capital of Spain. José Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, former Prime Minister of Spain, delivered the panel's opening remarks. The “Journalism for Juniors (J4J)” Mobile Journalism Workshop was held in Russia with the collaboration of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT), the Directorate of Communications, and the Yunus Emre Institute. The workshop took place in the Russian capital, Moscow, on 17–18–19 May.
