The sixth episode of the “Crafting Voices: Podcasts on Migration and Communication” series, produced as part of the Communicators Erasmus+ Project, has been released.
The guest of this episode, titled “Voices Beyond Borders,” is Antonina Albanese, a migration and international cooperation expert from Italy.
The episode explores the role of active citizenship, civic engagement, and responsible communication in building more inclusive societies. It also discusses the importance of effective communication in countering misinformation and disinformation on migration, the contribution of personal stories to overcoming prejudice, the role of empathy and intercultural dialogue in strengthening social cohesion, and examples of good practices that help foster more accurate and inclusive narratives on migration.
By bringing together experts from diverse backgrounds in the fields of migration and communication, the Crafting Voices podcast series aims to provide young communicators with new perspectives on media literacy, ethical journalism, and inclusive communication.
