ErdoÄŸan hopes US-Iran deal will bring “lasting peace” to region (AFP)

In a statement today, Turkish President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan said he hoped the US-Iran deal would "fully pave the way for the establishment of lasting peace and stability in the region." ErdoÄŸan spoke to Turkish media after the cabinet meeting in Ankara, stating, "A major step was taken in the war that began on 28 February following Israel's provocations, and this tense region breathed a sigh of relief."

The most recent photographs from Türkiye's Ministry of National Defence confirmed that the first hull block of the first MUGEM-class large aircraft carrier, which was designed domestically, has been successfully built.
