Statement on President Erdoğan’s meeting with President da Silva of Brazil

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil in Italy. The meeting addressed relations between Türkiye and Brazil, Israel’s atrocities in Gaza and what must be done to stop them as well as global developments. Noting during the meeting that Israel has become increasingly isolated lately, President Erdoğan added that the pressure on Israel must be increased and sustained in order to end the oppression.

In a post on his social media account, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed his hope that the G7 Leaders Summit would bring positive outcomes for humanity. In his post, President Erdoğan said, "I hope that the G7 Leaders Summit held in Italy today will bring positive outcomes for humanity.
