Press Release: Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2024 (Antalya, March 1-3, 2024)

  1. General Information

The Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF), a platform that facilitates debate on global and regional issues bringing together officials and non-state actors, will be held for the third time on 1-3 March 2024 in Antalya, Türkiye under the auspices of H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye. The event which will be held under the theme of “Advancing Diplomacy in times of Turmoil” will be hosted by H.E. Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye.

The Directorate of Communications will process accreditation requests from press members who would like to cover the Forum, which will host Heads of States and Governments, Ministers, policy makers, diplomats, business leaders, academics, representatives of think tanks, youth organizations and media from Türkiye and around the world.

  1. Accreditation

Members of the press, who wish to cover the ADF must submit all required documents and complete their applications by 5 pm on Wednesday, February 14 via http://akreditasyon.iletisim.gov.tr

Applications submitted after the deadline will not be taken into consideration.

a) Application for Press Members Holding the Official Press Credential

No documents are required from domestic and international press members holding the official press credential issued by the Directorate of Communications.

Members of the press will complete their applications by logging into the system with their e-mail addresses and passwords registered on the accreditation portal.

b) Application for Press Members Who Do Not Have the Official Press Credential

Members of the press who don’t have the official press credential must upload their assignment letters (on letterhead, signed and stamped by authorized personnel) stating that they have been assigned to the Forum and valid identity documents (identity card for Turkish citizens, passport for foreigners) to the system.

Note: Applications made with an e-mail address other than the e-mail address registered on the accreditation portal will not be evaluated.

  1. Accreditation Steps

Accreditation of press members will be carried out in two stages.

First Stage:

  1. Visit http://akreditasyon.iletisim.gov.tr.  
  2. If you are a first-time applicant, click “Sign Up” and enter your e-mail address and password.
  3. Click on the activation link sent to your e-mail and complete your registration.
  4. On the web page that opens after clicking the activation link, log in using your e-mail address and password.
  5. Complete your personal information on the profile page and upload your photo. Please note that the information you provide must match your ID (for Turkish nationals) or your passport (for foreigner journalists).
  6. After saving your personal information, choose "Antalya Diplomacy Forum (March 1-3, 2024)".
  7. The organization, title and contact information of domestic and foreign journalists holding press cards will be automatically uploaded to the system. You may complete your application by clicking “Send” on the right-hand side.
  8. Members of the national and international press, who do not have a valid press card are required to upload the documents specified above before clicking “Send.”
  9. Members of the press, who have completed their applications successfully, will receive an e-mail notification. (Please reapply if you have not received such an e-mail.)
  10. A confirmation email will be sent to applicants when their applications are approved.

Second Stage:

  1. All approved applicants must request a registration password and link from  registration@antalyadf.org. They must register to the Forum by February 18, 2024, with the personal password and registration link that will be sent to them. Press members who do not register will not be able to participate in the Forum.

Accreditation badges can be collected in person from the Press Desk to be set up at the NEST Convention Center, as of February 29, 2024.
