Press
13th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) will be hosted by Türkiye in Ankara on 29-30 October 2026.
The Congress Center of the Presidential Complex shall be allocated for the press. Members of the press that will cover the Summit are required to complete their accreditation applicationsat https://akreditasyon.iletisim.gov.tr by 15:00 (Türkiye Local Time) on 22 October 2026, uploading the required documents to the system.
Accreditation
a) Applications by Official Press Personnel of the Delegations
A quota of four official press personnel has been allocated to each delegation attending theSummit. The names and titles of the personnel included in this quota (press advisers, officialcamera operators, official photographers, etc.) should be specified in a single letter of assignment issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country concerned. Official presspersonnel are required to upload this letter, together with their passport copies, to the systemto complete their applications.
b) Applications by Members of the Press Holding a Press Card
Turkish and foreign members of the press holding a turquoise press card issued by theDirectorate of Communications of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye are not requiredto submit any document.
Applications should be completed by logging into the accreditation portal using registeredemail addresses and passwords.
c) Applications by Members of the Press Without a Press Card
Members of the press who are not holders of the press card are required to upload a letter of assignment from their media organisation confirming their assignment to follow the Summit. The letter must be issued on official letterhead, duly signed by an authorised person and bearthe organisation’s stamp. Applicants should also upload a valid ID copy; a national identitycard for Turkish citizens or a passport for foreign nationals.
Accreditation Procedure
Accreditation procedure is as follows:
1) Visit https://akreditasyon.iletisim.gov.tr
2) If you are accessing the portal for the first time, click “Register” and create an accountusing your email address and a password of your choice.
3) Complete your registration using the activation code sent to your email address.
4) Log in to the system again using your email address and password.
5) If you are an official press member accompanying a delegation, go to “Apply” on the left-hand side of the homepage and select “13th Summit of the Organization of TurkicStates/Official Delegation”.
6) After logging in, click on the meeting you wish to follow (13th Summit of the Organizationof Turkic States) under the “Apply” section on the left-hand side of the homepage.
7) Enter your personal details and information about your media organisation on theapplication page for the Summit. If you do not hold a press card, upload the requireddocuments. If you are part of an official delegation, upload the relevant letter of assignment.
8) Once all required fields have been completed fully and accurately, click “Confirm” in thebottom right-corner of the page to submit your application.
9) Applicants will receive a confirmation email stating that their application has beenreceived.
Processing of Applications and Collection of Accreditation Cards
1) If any information or documents submitted are incomplete or incorrect, the Directorate of Communications will notify the applicant by email and request the necessary corrections. Applicants should make the corrections through the accreditation portal and resubmit theirapplications.
2) Press members whose applications have been approved will receive a confirmation emailproviding information regarding collection of their accreditation cards.
