World leaders extend their “best wishes” to President Erdoğan over phone

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Ersin Tatar of the TRNC, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov of Bulgaria and the Chairman of the Presidential Council of Government of National Accord of Libya, Fayez al Sarraj.   The leaders called President Erdoğan to extend their best wishes and solidarity messages for the earthquake that struck İzmir.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis of Greece.   Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis called President Erdoğan because of the earthquake that affected Izmir and some of the Greek islands.   President Erdoğan and Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis exchanged wishes for a speedy recovery.    President Erdoğan stated Turkey stands ready to help Greece if need be.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held phone calls with AFAD President Mehmet Güllüoğlu, Governor of İzmir Yavuz Selim Köşger and Mayor of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç Soyer regarding the earthquake that occurred in İzmir.   During the conversations, President Erdoğan conveyed his get well soon wishes to the people of İzmir and received information about the earthquake and search and rescue efforts.   President Erdoğan stated that the state stands by the people of İzmir with all its means so that the wounds are healed as soon as possible.

President Erdoğan: “I wish a speedy recovery to all our citizens who were affected by the earthquake in İzmir”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan wished a speedy recovery to the citizens who were affected by the 6.6-magnitude earthquake off the coast of Seferihisar in the Sea.   In a post on his Twitter account, President Erdoğan said, “I wish a speedy recovery to all our citizens who were affected by the earthquake in İzmir. We stand by our citizens who were affected by the earthquake with all the means of our state. We took action with all our relevant institutions and our ministers to launch the necessary initiatives in the region.”

President Erdoğan inspects construction of Taksim Mosque and Atatürk Culture Center

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan inspected the ongoing construction works of Taksim Mosque and the new Atatürk Culture Center in Istanbul. Answering reporters’ questions during the visits, President Erdoğan extended his condolences for the late Prime Minister Mesut Yılmaz, who passed away earlier today.
