National and international media members were briefed about the earthquake zone in Adıyaman

A visit to Adıyaman, which was affected by the earthquakes on February 6, was organised by the Directorate of Communications, which included 34 members of the national and international press.

At the Adıyaman Governor's Office, 34 members of the press—including journalists from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus—were briefed about the events that took place in the city following the earthquake.

At the meeting, Governor Osman Varol said that thousands of people lost their lives in the earthquakes, and 33,112 buildings in the city were identified as 'collapsed,' 'to be demolished immediately,' 'heavily damaged,' and 'moderately damaged.'

Members of the press then visited the completed village disaster houses in Akpınar village.

A member of the press from Uzbekistan, Murat Xocayoröğlu, told the AA correspondent that the permanent residences built following the earthquakes were rising quickly, saying, "The house projects in Adıyaman are progressing nicely. Even some of the village houses are complete and exquisite; every detail has been considered. We learned that the houses constructed by TOKİ are incredibly safe and comfortable; comfortable houses are being built for people to live here."

Turkmen Journalist Saltanat Uzakbaykızı stated that they saw a great deal of work following the earthquakes.

Describing their visit to the houses built in the earthquake zone, Uzakbaykızı remarked, ''Everything was thought of in the houses built by TOKİ, and they were exquisite, with some even featuring three rooms. This place will serve as people's warm homes."
