On 7–8 July, Türkiye will host the heads of state and government of 32 NATO member countries, as well as numerous invited leaders, nearly 100 ministers, many senior diplomats, representatives of international organisations, and thousands of foreign guests. Around 3,000 journalists, television crews, photojournalists, digital media representatives and international broadcasting organisations from around the world have applied for accreditation for the summit, where a total of 56,288 security personnel will be deployed, including 48,841 police officers and 7,447 gendarmerie personnel.

Within the scope of the summit, three airports – Ankara, Esenboğa and Mürted – will serve participants.  The summit will be organised within a standard framework set by the NATO Secretariat. The leaders’ meeting will be held entirely in closed session and conducted in a NATO-level classified format.

Only brief footage will be allowed for the press at the opening stage of the meeting. In this section, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will make a short statement on behalf of the Alliance, outlining the agenda of the summit, the topics to be discussed, and the current situation.
