Helicopter crash in Duhok
The bulletin stated that the terrorist organization PKK's propaganda accounts’ claim that "a Turkish helicopter crashed in Duhok, Iraq", was false and that there were no Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) helicopter flights in the area.
The bulletin stated that the crashed helicopter was a Eurocopter AS350 type helicopter and that the Airbus-manufactured Eurocopter AS350 light utility helicopter was not in the TAF's inventory. It also included the following information:
"Duhok Governor Ali Tatar announced that seven of those killed in the helicopter crash in the region were members of the terrorist organization PKK. The Counter-Terrorism Service of the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government (IKRG) announced that the helicopter was a Eurocopter AS350, confirming that those on board were PKK members. In a television interview, Iraqi Military Industry's IKRG Representative Ahmed Amedi stated that the helicopter that crashed in Duhok did not belong to Türkiye. Amedi pointed to the terrorist organization PKK, stating that the helicopter was a Eurocopter AS350. Authorities announced that they were investigating which country owned the helicopter."
