Director of Communications Altun: “We will continue to work to establish peace and security throughout our country, despite the treacherous terrorist organisations that have no sacred values”

Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun said, "We will continue to work with all our might to establish peace and security throughout our country, despite the treacherous terrorist organisations that have no sacred values, including children."

Director of Communications Altun shared a video prepared on the occasion of the 7th anniversary of the "October 6-8 Incidents" on his social media account.

In his post, Altun noted, "We will continue to work with all our might to establish peace and security throughout our country, despite the treacherous terrorist organisations that have no sacred values, including children."

Yasin Börü and three of his friends, who were murdered while trying to distribute meat to the needy in Diyarbakır during the Eid al-Adha, were also commemorated in the video, which depicted the incidents perpetrated by the supporters of the terrorist organisation PKK/YPG on the pretext of Ayn al-Arab (Kobani) on October 6-8, 2014, following the call of the HDP Central Executive Committee.

The incidents of October 6-8 were described in the video as "HDP's bloody provocation," and quotes from HDP executives supporting the PKK/PYD/YPG terrorist organisation were included.

At the end of the video, it was stated, "The Republic of Türkiye continues to fight resolutely against terrorist organisations that have suffered major blows after many successful military operations carried out beyond and inside our borders since 2014. With mercy and gratitude, we commemorate our martyrs, who sacrificed their lives without hesitation in all four corners of our country, from Hakkari to Edirne, so that we could live in peace and security."
