The Directorate of Communications will organise the Türkiye-China Media Forum.
The opening remarks of the forum, which will be organised tomorrow in Ankara to deepen the strategic partnership between the two countries by enhancing cooperation in the field of media and communication and to foster people-to-people interaction, will be delivered by the Presidency's Head of Communications, Prof. Fahrettin Altun, and the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Ankara, Jiang Xuebin.
Prominent members of the media, academics, and representatives from public institutions in Türkiye and China will attend the forum to discuss opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of communication and media.
The forum will feature two key panel sessions. The first session, titled "A Strategic Partnership in the Emerging Global Communication Architecture: Türkiye and China", will address the cooperation opportunities between the two countries in the field of communication within the framework of the transformation in the global communication order.
The second session, titled "Artificial Intelligence and Innovative Technologies in Strategic Communication," will discuss the impact of rapid transformations in communication technologies on strategic communication practices, as well as the role of artificial intelligence, big data, and digital infrastructures in public diplomacy, media production, and information management.
The forum will also explore concrete areas of cooperation in the fields of media diplomacy, public communication, cultural interaction, and digitalisation.
The series of media forums organised by the Directorate of Communications, in collaboration with various countries and focusing on different themes, aims to enhance Türkiye's presence in the field of communication and strengthen relations with international media organisations on an institutional basis.
