The second edition of the panel series titled “Turkic World Dialogues: Shared Future, Shared Vision” will be held by the Directorate of Communications in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
Ahead of the 13th Summit of Heads of State of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS), to be held in Ankara on 29–30 October 2026, the Directorate of Communications is organising a panel series titled “Turkic World Dialogues: Shared Future, Shared Vision” across OTS member and observer states.
Following the first panel held in Astana, the second event in the series will take place in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, on 15 September 2026.
Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran will address guests via video message during the panel, to be moderated by Tashkent Communications Counsellor Prof. Mehmet Yüce. The panel will feature as speakers Prof. Seyit Sertçelik, Chief Advisor to the President and Member of the Security and Foreign Policies Council; Dr Fariz Ismailzade, Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Prof. Esma Özdaşlı, Chief Advisor to the Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP); Dr Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Centre of Analysis of International Relations; and Assoc. Prof. Nazim Jafarov, Deputy Chairman of the Caucasus Centre for International Relations and Strategic Studies.
The panel aims to enhance the visibility of the Organisation of Turkic States at the regional and global levels, communicate the Turkic world’s shared vision to wider audiences, and strengthen academic, cultural, economic and social interaction among the countries.
The panel will assess steps to further develop existing cooperation in a wide range of areas, particularly education, economy, transport, energy, science, technology, defence industry, media and culture, as well as opportunities for future cooperation. It will also address expectations regarding the 13th Summit of Heads of State of the Organisation of Turkic States, to be held in Ankara in October.
