The "State Incentives Promotion Days" organised for the youth under the coordination of our Directorate continue in İstanbul.
The promotion days held at the Ümraniye Municipality Exhibition and Fair Centre under the mottos "Your Future is Here with the State on Your Side" and "Dreams of the Youth are Our Duty" continued to garner great interest on the second day.
Over 40 institutions and organisations, including Anadolu Agency (AA), ministries, the Secretariat of Defence Industries, the Presidency of Religious Affairs, the Turkish National Agency, the Digital Transformation Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, the Finance Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, Turkish Airlines (THY) and universities, participated in the promotion days.
Young people attending the promotion days obtain information about career planning and entrepreneurship from expert representatives from public institutions at the booths.
The event provides detailed information on matters such as internship programmes and support for international projects, as well as the financial assistance such as scholarships, grants, funds and loans offered by the state.
In the meantime, the SOLOTÜRK demo team met with young people as part of the promotion days. Demonstration pilots Major Murat Bakıcı, M. Erhan Aydemir, Press and Public Relations Officer First Lieutenant Alper Şen and Press and Public Relations Non-Commissioned Officer Muhammed Bölükbaşı shared their experiences with young people.
"We Aspire to Raise Awareness"
Evren Başar, the Presidency's Deputy Head of Communications, while visiting the booths, told the AA correspondent that they have been organising these events in various provinces since December 2021.
Başar stated, "We have organised this event with over 1.5 million young people in 24 major cities such as Samsun, Antalya, Gaziantep, Van, Eskişehir and Diyarbakır. Our 25th stop is İstanbul. I would like to express my pleasure in meeting with our youth in İstanbul."
Deputy Head of Communications Başar shared their satisfaction with the considerable interest in the event and added:
"We are here as the Directorate of Communications to directly explain the incentive opportunities that our state offers to our youth, including support, grants, funds, scholarships, and loans. In this way, we aspire to raise awareness about the opportunities that our state has to offer young people as they plan their careers and future. About 44 public institutions, universities and non-governmental organisations are waiting for our youth with their expert teams. Inshallah, we will meet with our youth in Aydın and Isparta in April and Kahramanmaraş and Trabzon in May following the Eid."
Students' Interest
One of the students attending the promotion days, Mert Emirhan Kaya, expressed his happiness about participating in the event.
Kaya stated that he had the opportunity to browse through various booths and said, "All booths are very beautiful; everybody is attentive. The atmosphere in here is great; it genuinely awakens the sense of consciousness and patriotism in people."
Elvin Civelek said, "We are here as part of a school trip. There is SOLOTÜRK. I have seen drones, planes and military vehicles. I have taken pictures with soldiers. Turkish Airlines is here; I have received information from them. It was nice, and I have gathered information about the topics we were curious about."
Efe Çapraz expressed that he attended the event with his friends, explored the booths, and enjoyed various experiences, particularly in technology and defence.
The promotion days will conclude at 06:00 p.m.
