The session "Resolute State, Secure Public in the Fight Against Drugs" was held at the “Secure Türkiye: A Resolute State in the Fight Against Drugs Panel" conducted in the conference hall of Our Directorate.
"Resolute State, Secure Public in the Fight Against Drugs," the first session of the “Secure Türkiye: A Resolute State in the Fight Against Drugs Panel, was held under the moderation of Zeynep Zelan, Head of the Press and Publications Department of the Presidency's Directorate of Communications.
Speaking at the panel, Assoc. Prof Muhammed Emin Demirkol, Director General of Public Health at the Ministry of Health , provided information about units where counselling and support can be obtained in the fight against addiction and efforts to combat addiction in primary health care services.
Dr Mustafa Uzun, Member of the Presidential Health Policies Council, stated, "Life does not accept gaps. We need to fill these gaps together without marginalising or ostracising our youth. We need everyone's contribution in the fight against addiction."
Dr. Enes Efendioğlu, Director General of Youth Services at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, mentioned activities related to youth centres and activities, and underlined that there are 570 youth centres and 378 youth offices across Türkiye.
