Applications are now available for the "Kazakhstan Through the Eyes of Foreign Media" competition, which will be held for the tenth time this year. Written or filmed works by foreign journalists showcasing various aspects of Kazakhstan will be evaluated.
In this competition, open to foreign media organizations, freelance journalists, online media workers, and bloggers, informational, analytical, cultural, entertainment, documentary, and other materials about Kazakhstan issued between 1 August 2024-1 August 2025 will be evaluated.
All publications other than Kazakh, Russian, and English must be submitted with a translation into one of the aforementioned languages. Written materials are expected to be limited to 300 to 3,000 words, and videos are expected to be between 1 and 60 minutes long.
Materials must be submitted, along with any translations and the application form below, to mediacontest2025@mfa.kz by August 15, 2025.
The winners of the competition will be awarded an all-expenses-paid trip to Kazakhstan.
