GENERAL ELECTIONS IN PAKISTAN (08 February 2024)

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has extended the deadline for media accreditation applications for Pakistan's general elections to be held on February 08, 2024, which was previously announced as December 15, 2023, to January 20, 2024.

In this context, members of the international press who will visit Pakistan can apply for the journalist visa through the website https://visa.nadra.gov.pk. The application can be completed without attaching the accreditation application form downloaded from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) website to the visa application.

Upon arrival in Pakistan, media members are also required to submit the accreditation registration forms obtained from the ECP to the Foreign Relations Division of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of Pakistan.
