PRESS ACCREDITATION ANNOUNCEMENT
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
The 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2026) will be held from 5 to 9 October 2026 at the Antalya Nest Congress Center, organized by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye, hosted by the Turkish Space Agency (TUA), and co-hosted by SAHA Istanbul.
Press accreditation will be required for media representatives wishing to attend, cover and report on IAC 2026, one of the leading international events of the global space ecosystem.
2. PRESS ACCREDITATION
Press accreditation for media representatives covering IAC 2026 will be administered by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF).
Media representatives wishing to cover the Congress are required to complete their online press accreditation applications via the following website:

The International Astronautical Federation (IAF), a non-profit organization, operates through the voluntary contributions of its 604 member organizations from 82 countries.
A limited number of complimentary “Accredited Press” badges will be available for IAC 2026. Due to the limited capacity and the international nature of the Congress, applications will be evaluated by the IAF and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye.
The application system will automatically close once the available quota has been reached or one week prior to the start of the Congress, whichever comes first. Therefore, media representatives wishing to cover the Congress are strongly advised to complete their applications as soon as possible.
Applicants are required to upload, during the online application process, an official assignment letter issued by the media organization they represent, confirming that they have been officially assigned to cover the Congress.
3. SCOPE OF PRESS ACCREDITATION
The complimentary press accreditation provided for IAC 2026 grants accredited media representatives access to the Congress venues as members of the press.
Travel, accommodation and other logistical arrangements are the responsibility of the media representatives.
