Organisation of Islamic Cooperation 12Th Conference of The Ministers of Information





12th Conference of the Ministers of Information of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will be hosted by the Republic of Türkiye in İstanbul on 21-22 October 2022. The Ministers of Information Meeting will be open to press on 22 October 2022.

The members of the press who wish to follow the meeting must submit all required documents and complete their applications from 09.00 hours on Tuesday, 15 September to 18.00 hours on Monday, 17 October 2022 via

Applications submitted after the deadline will not be taken into consideration.


a)Members of the National Press;

National media members with a press card are not required to submit any additional documentation. Please note that Permanent Press Card and Free Press Card holders must type the name of the institution they represent to cover the Forum in the “Explanations” tab and upload the assignment letter from their institutions.

b) Members of the International Press (Based in Türkiye)

International press members based in Türkiye are not required to upload any documents into the system. Please log into the accreditation system with the same email address and password that you used to apply for your press card and provide the requested information.

Applications filled with e-mail addresses different from the ones used for permanent accreditation will not be taken into consideration. Press members who fail to remember their e-mail addresses can contact for further information.

Steps of Accreditation

  2. If you are a first-time applicant, click “Sign Up” and enter your e-mail address and password.

  3. Click on the activation link sent to your e-mail and complete your registration.

  4. On the web page that opens after clicking the activation link, log in using your e-mail address and password.

  5. Complete your personal information on the profile page and upload your photo. Please note that the information you provide must match your ID (for Turkish nationals) or your passport (for international journalists).

  6. About the option “ choose your application” on the page, please click on “12th Conference of Information Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation”.

  7. The accreditation system will automatically display your organization, title and contact information if you are a national and international press card holder. The journalists should complete their application by clicking “Send” on the right-hand side.

  8. Members of the press who have completed their applications successfully will receive an email notification confirming their application. Please re-apply if you have not received any such email.

  9. Applicants, who have been accredited for the meeting, will receive a confirmation email separately.

  10. Please make sure that you remember the email address and password you have used to register for accreditation. You will need that information in all future applications.


Accreditation is needed for live broadcast vehicles. It is enough for only one journalist to register on behalf of the institution for live broadcast vehicles. In case more than one vehicles will be entering in the conference area, please register each and every vehicle by using the “Add Vehicle” icon at the vehicle accreditation option of your personal application page. Please note that vehicle accreditation is only intended for live broadcast vehicles; application for personal vehicles will not be taken into consideration.

The uplink and techical equipment vehicles which do not have accreditation card shall not be granted access into the conference area. Likewise, the unaccredited members of the press will not be able to benefit from any of the facilitations, nor will they have access to any of the organisations for press.

Important Note: the members of the press whose accreditations are approved will be able to collect their badges in person from the press desk at Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus Hotel on Thursday, 21 October 2022. The programme and agenda of the meeting will be shared in due course.
