In the Administrative Arrangements note published by the NATO Council Secretariat regarding the NATO Summit to be held in Washington DC on July 9-11, 2024, the following points were shared regarding the accreditation procedures of members of the press.
Members of the press covering the Summit on their own (even if they have annual accreditation from NATO) will need to be accredited through the NATO platform https://my.hq.nato.int and the United States Secret Service authentication platform - https://nato24dc.pvitl.com/registration/media.
These web platforms will be open until midnight Central European Summer Time on June 21. The number of accreditations is limited and accreditation requests will be confirmed via an e-mail message sent by NATO.
The list of press members traveling with the Heads of State / Government should be sent to (NATOAccreditations@hq.nato.int) by June 25, 2024. If these press members are accredited in a timely manner, their accreditation requests will be met.
