The kick-off meeting of the “VOICE of Migration: Future Communicators” (VoM) project, coordinated by the Directorate of Communications and aimed at promoting a more accurate, ethical, and creative communication of migration issues across Europe through young communicators, was held on 20 June 2025 in Albacete, Spain.
With partners from Austria, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, and Greece, the project seeks to empower young communicators in the field of migration communication and to foster more conscious public awareness on the topic.
During the meeting, project objectives, activity plans, and strategies for youth participation were discussed. Within the framework of the project partnership, participating institutions will collaborate on jointly produced content, particularly in the areas of ethical migration communication, media representation of migration, AI-assisted media literacy, and digital storytelling.
