July 15 Events Abroad

Various events are being organised in many countries as part of the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.

United Kingdom

Vehicles equipped with LED screens displaying images and texts about the resistance and struggle of the Turkish people against the July 15 coup attempt travelled through the streets of London.

These LED screen vehicles drove across locations where ministries, state institutions, the parliament, and historical and touristic monuments are located. They emphasised FETÖ's July 15 coup attempt and the Turkish people's battle against it.

Starting from one of the city's most famous squares, Piccadilly, the LED screen vehicles toured Oxford Street, Trafalgar Square, the UK Parliament, Tower Bridge, and Hyde Park. The vehicles featured the words "Victory of Democracy" and "Heroes of Century of Türkiye," along with the award-winning photo taken by AA photojournalist Elif Öztürk on the July 15 Martyrs' Bridge.

Bulgaria

The capital of Bulgaria, Sofia, hosted a commemoration event to mark July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
