The Directorate of Communications has published the book “Japan Seen Again, 70 Years Later,” which compiles photographs taken in Japan in 1956 and 1957 by İzzet Keribar, one of the prominent figures in Turkish photography.

A Photographic Journey Back to Japan 70 Years Ago
The photographs taken between 1956 and 1957 constitute an important visual record of Japan’s post-war period. This selection, comprised of photographs from cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara, reflects the urban life and social fabric of the period through İzzet Keribar’s unique perspective.
