“Investment and Finance in the Türkiye Century” panel held

A panel titled “Investment and Finance in the Türkiye Century” was held as part of the “Investment and Finance in the Türkiye Century” Programme and book launch event, co-hosted by our Directorate and the Investment and Finance Office of the Presidency.

The panel, moderated by Gökhan Yücel, Head of the Communications Department at the Investment and Finance Office of the Presidency, featured Murat Çiçek, CEO at TürkMedya; Alpaslan Çakar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Banks Association of Türkiye, CEO and Board Member of Ziraat Bank; Ali Fuat Orhonoğlu, President of the International Investors Association of Türkiye (YASED); and Emre Karter, Chair of AmCham.

Speaking at the panel titled “Investment and Finance in the Türkiye Century,” participants shared their assessments regarding Türkiye’s investment climate, financial infrastructure, and the opportunities it offers on a global scale.

YASED President Ali Fuat Orhonoğlu stated: “I would like to express that over the past 20 years, a truly strong foundation has been established in Türkiye, particularly with the contributions of the Investment and Finance Office of the Presidency.”

Alpaslan Çakar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Banks Association of Türkiye, CEO and Board Member of Ziraat Bank, said: “We strive to support and prioritise all investments, particularly those that are selective, high value-added, and capable of advancing the national economy.”

Chair of AmCham Emre Karter remarked: “Türkiye is truly a country that offers great diversity and hosts a wide range of opportunities.”

Murat Çiçek, CEO at TürkMedya, stated: “The point Türkiye has reached, the investments it has attracted, and its strength in the world of finance clearly demonstrate that the country has now become a hub.”
