The International Media Coordination Office of the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications of the Republic of Türkiye organised a media programme for members of the international press on the occasion of the third anniversary of the 6 February earthquakes centred in Kahramanmaraş.
As part of the programme, a press tour was held at the historic Duraklı Mosque in Kahramanmaraş, with 32 journalists from 11 countries in attendance.
The current stage reached at the waqf mosque—restored and revitalised following rehabilitation works carried out by the Directorate General of Foundations under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism—was presented to the international press and public, together with before-and-after visuals documenting the restoration process.
