A cooperation protocol has been signed between the Directorate of Communications and the African Handicrafts and Culture House Association, which operates under the auspices of First Lady Emine Erdoğan.
The Presidency’s Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran and Zeliha Sağlam, Chairperson of the Board of the African Handicrafts and Culture House Association, attended the signing ceremony held at the Directorate of Communications.
The protocol, signed by Head of Communications Duran and Sağlam, aims to develop joint projects in the fields of media, communication, public diplomacy, culture and social affairs, and to carry out activities within a framework of mutual cooperation and coordination.
Following the signing ceremony, the Presidency’s Head of Communications Duran and Sağlam posed for a commemorative photograph.
Under the protocol, the two institutions are expected to cooperate on organisation, coordination and human resources in the implementation of jointly agreed projects and activities. In addition to initiatives in the fields of media and communication, the protocol aims to facilitate joint efforts that will promote cultural interaction and public diplomacy, while contributing to stronger mutual understanding and communication between Türkiye and African countries.
Meanwhile, Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran shared a message on his NSosyal account regarding the cooperation protocol.
In his post, Head of Communications Duran stated:
“The African Handicrafts and Culture House, operating under the auspices of First Lady Emine Erdoğan, preserves Africa’s rich cultural heritage while adding value to the work of African women and strengthening the bonds of friendship between the peoples of Türkiye and Africa.
We have signed a cooperation protocol between the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications and the African Handicrafts and Culture House Association to contribute to these valuable efforts.
Under the protocol, we will carry out joint initiatives in the fields of media, communication, public diplomacy, culture and social affairs, further strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between Türkiye and Africa.
