General Information
The 42nd Ministerial Session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC) will be hosted by the Republic of Türkiye at the Istanbul Congress Center from October 31 to November 3, 2026.
Members of the press who wish to cover the meeting are required to complete their accreditation applications by uploading the requested documents to the system via https://akreditasyon.iletisim.gov.tr no later than 2:00 p.m. on October 23, 2026.
Applications submitted after the deadline will not be taken into consideration.
Accreditation
a) Applications for Press Members Holding an Official Press Credential
No additional documents are required from domestic or international press members holding an official press credential issued by the Directorate of Communications.
Members of the press can complete their applications by logging into the system using the email addresses and passwords registered on the accreditation portal.
b) Applications for Press Members Who Do Not Hold an Official Press Credential
Members of the press who do not hold an official press credential must upload their assignment letters (on official letterhead, signed and stamped by authorized personnel), stating that they have been assigned to cover the meeting, along with valid identification documents (identity cards for Turkish citizens and passports for foreign nationals).
Accreditation Procedure
- Visit the website: https://akreditasyon.iletisim.gov.tr
- If you are using the portal for the first time, please click the “Register” button and sign up using your email address and a password of your choice.
- After completing the registration, activate your account using the activation code sent to your email address.
- Log in to the system again using your email address and the password you created.
- After logging in, select the meeting you wish to attend (“The 42nd Session of the COMCEC”) from the “Apply” section on the left side of the homepage.
- Fill in your personal details and information about your media organization on the application page. If you do not hold an official press credential, please upload the required documents to the system.
- Press members who have completed all relevant fields accurately and in full can finalize their applications by clicking the “Confirm” button in the bottom-right corner of the page.
- Press members who have successfully completed their applications will receive an email stating, “Your application has been received.”
Application Review and Badge Distribution
- If any information or documents provided by an applicant are found to be incomplete or incorrect during the review process, the applicant will be notified by email and asked to make the necessary corrections. Applicants must revise and resubmit their applications through the accreditation portal.
- Press members whose applications are approved will receive a confirmation email stating, “Your application has been approved.”
- Accredited press members can collect their accreditation badges in person from the press desk at the event venue on October 30, 2026.
