Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu noted in a statement following a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir Abdollahian that Türkiye is interested in further expanding cooperation with Iran in the energy sector.
Minister Çavuşoğlu said, “We discussed bilateral and regional issues today. We want to expand our cooperation in the energy field. We support signing the nuclear agreement as soon as possible. We are committed to eliminating existing problems, enhancing our relations, and working together to solve existing problems.”
