According to a statement from the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ilham Aliyev, on Wednesday.
The statement indicates that Erdoğan underscored Türkiye and Azerbaijan's commitment to pursue their shared objectives across all fields, particularly in trade.
President Erdoğan expressed contentment with the advancements in the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia and reaffirmed Türkiye's ongoing support for it.
The Turkish leader also extended his congratulations to President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan on the occasion of his birthday and the new year.
