President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has arrived in Karabakh at the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Azerbaijan’s Victory Day.
President Erdoğan and First Lady Emine Erdoğan were welcomed at the Fuzuli International Airport by President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva of Azerbaijan.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan and Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı are accompanying President Erdoğan in Azerbaijan.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan extended his congratulations on Azerbaijan’s Victory Day, celebrated on 8 November to mark the Karabakh Victory, in a post on his NSosyal account.
In his message, President Erdoğan stated:
“I extend my heartfelt congratulations on the sixth anniversary of Karabakh’s liberation from 30 years of occupation and on Victory Day in friendly and brotherly Azerbaijan.
I commemorate with mercy all our martyrs who secured this great victory through their sacrifice and laid down their lives for their homeland.”
