Presidency's Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran shared a message marking World Environment Day on 5 June and Türkiye Environment Week.
In the post he shared on his NSosyal account, Head of Communications Duran stated:
“Protecting the environment is our responsibility not only toward nature but also toward our future. Every step we take today shapes the world we leave to our children tomorrow.
The Zero Waste Movement carried out under the auspices of First Lady Emine Erdoğan has created strong awareness in our country regarding environmental protection and the efficient use of resources and has shortly turned into an exemplary environmental mobilisation that has earned international recognition.
We believe the most valuable legacy we will leave future generations is a preserved environment and a sustainable world. We will continue to promote a way of life in harmony with nature for a cleaner, greener, and more habitable world.
