The Presidency's Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, released a written statement on the Presidential High Advisory Board's meeting under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
In his statement, Head of Communications Duran said:
"The Presidential High Advisory Board convened under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Presidential Complex.
Attending the meeting were the board members İsmail Kahraman, Mehmet Ali Şahin, Cemil Çiçek, Köksal Toptan, İsmet Yılmaz, Binali Yıldırım, and Mustafa Şentop, as well as the Secretary-General of the Presidency, Hakkı Susmaz; the Presidency's Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran; and the Chief of Cabinet to the President, Hasan Doğan.
The Presidential High Advisory Board's agenda included regional conflicts, recent global developments, and the 'Terror-Free Türkiye' process.
It was underscored in the meeting that the establishment of a ceasefire in the process that began with unlawful assaults on Iran was important and that contacts with all parties continue to maintain peace and to extend the ceasefire.
The meeting evaluated steps that can be taken and have been taken to further advance Türkiye in all areas, from the defence industry to communication and information technologies, from transportation to energy, and from urban planning to tourism, despite the adverse developments in the region.
During the meeting, which thoroughly discussed the importance of strengthening the domestic front, it was stated that a resilient national spirit will ensure the elimination of all threats against Türkiye. The necessity of taking determined steps that strengthen our unity and solidarity, such as the 'Terror-Free Türkiye' process, was highlighted.
The meeting also assessed comprehensive judicial, administrative, sociological, and cultural measures and in-depth roadmaps for combating all forms of violence, particularly those that took place recently in the schools."
