The Presidency's Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, posted a message on his NSosyal account on the occasion of the 21 March World Down Syndrome Day.
In his post, Head of Communications Duran said:
"The 21 March World Down Syndrome Day is a meaningful day that serves as a reminder of social conscience and the value placed on human dignity.
Our brothers and sisters with Down syndrome add value to every aspect of life with their resolve and sincerity; they show us the importance of living together, solidarity, and empowerment. We know that differences are not a division but a profound richness.
On this occasion, I extend my most heartfelt affection and greetings to our brothers and sisters with Down syndrome and their dear families."
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also shared a message on his social media account on the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day.
In his post, President Erdoğan stated: “On the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day, I extend my heartfelt affection to all our children with special needs and convey my greetings and regards to their devoted families, mothers, and fathers.”
