Worldwide outpouring of disaster aid for Türkiye continues

Aid and support messages for the survivors of the earthquakes, described as the disaster of the century, continue to arrive unabated from various countries around the world.

Iran, Egypt, and Pakistan were the forerunners of today's support, delivering various aids organised to assist disaster victims in Türkiye.

Furthermore, the first Maarif African Sports Tournament began in the West African country of Mali with messages of support for earthquake victims in Türkiye, while Zwelivelile Mandla Mandela, the grandson of Nelson Mandela, the first black president of the Republic of South Africa, stated that Türkiye, one of the world's most powerful actors, would overcome the earthquake disaster as soon as possible, adding, “President Erdoğan will complete those houses within a year and hand them over to earthquake victims. This is something in which I wholeheartedly believe.”
