As part of the international aid sent to victims of the 'disaster of the century’, Pakistan, Turkmenistan and Greece have provided aid in addition to their previous support.
Furthermore, in the joint declaration published following the 8th Speakers’ Consultation of MIKTA, founded by Türkiye, Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea and Australia, condolences were extended to Türkiye for those who lost their lives in the February 6 earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş.
In the United Kingdom, Prince of Wales William and his wife, Princess of Wales Kate, expressed their gratitude to British charity organisations for their assistance to earthquake victims and met with representatives of a local Turkish women's association in the Richmond area.
In addition, Greek athlete Miltiadis Tentoglou, who won the gold medal in the long jump at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, donated to AFAD in support of people affected by the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş.
