World nations send messages of support and condolences to Türkiye in response to the earthquake and flood disasters

Messages of support and condolence continue to be sent to Türkiye from all over the world due to the earthquakes referred to as the disaster of the century and the flooding disaster that occurred in the earthquake zone.

Today, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) delivered the aid they had organised for Türkiye and conveyed their condolences in response to the earthquakes called the disaster of the century and the subsequent flooding disaster.

In addition, Finnish President Sauli Niinistö visited the Karacasu Container City in Kahramanmaraş and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), where the Finnish search and rescue team is located, received information from the authorities, and conducted field investigations.

During his visit to the mobile soup kitchen established by the UN World Food Programme in the earthquake-affected Dulkadiroğlu district of Kahramanmaraş, Ambassador Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut, Head of the EU Delegation to Türkiye, stated, "After the mobile kitchen, we want to continue our support by switching to cash-based transfers so that people can access food."
