As leaders from around the world called President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on the occasion of his birthday, President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine shared a congratulatory post on his Twitter account.
President Erdoğan held phone conversations with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Ersin Tatar, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, the Founding President of Kazakhstan Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhistan Kassym Jomart Tokayev, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Serbia Aleksander Vucic, Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama, and Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina and President of the Party of Democratic Action Bakir Izetbegovic.
During the conversations, President Erdoğan extended his thanks to the leaders who congratulated him on his birthday.
In a similar vein, President Zelensky of Ukraine shared a congratulatory post on his official Twitter account on the occasion of President Erdoğan's birthday.
In his message, Zelensky said, "Congratulations to the close friend and ally President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his birthday! I appreciate Turkey's support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. I warmly recall my visit to Turkey and look forward to the IX High-Level Strategic Council to deepen our relations."
