Addressing the 33rd Ordinary General Assembly of the Türkiye Exporters Assembly and Export Champions Award Ceremony in Istanbul, President Erdoğan said: “Our achievements in exports, which we have made with the maxim that we will leave no customs gate where our flag does not wave in global markets, have now become a source of national motivation. With $395.9 billion, our goods and service exports broke the Republican era record in 2025.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the 33rdOrdinary General Assembly of the Türkiye Exporters Assembly and Export Champions Award Ceremony in Istanbul.
Underscoring that under the shadow of conjectural tensions, Türkiye accomplished 3.6 per cent growth in 2025, and 2.5 per cent in the first quarter of 2026, President Erdoğan noted that they have also carried the growth performance to the last 23 quarters, and said: “Our achievements in exports, which we have made with the maxim that we will leave no customs gate where our flag does not wave in global markets, have now become a source of national motivation. With $395.9 billion, our goods and service exports broke the Republican era record in 2025. Our goods exports, which were merely 36 billion dollars in 2002, increased to 273.3 billion dollars as of 2025. And, our service exports, which were 14 billion dollars in 2002, increased to 122.6 billion dollars last year. Our share in the global goods exports has reached 1.04 per cent from 55 per thousand, and our share in the service exports to 1.28 per cent from 89 per thousand.”
