“We will establish through joint patrols whether or not they have actually withdrawn”

Communications Director Fahrettin Altun posted the following on his Twitter as the 150-hour deadline set by Turkey and Russia expired.

“The 150-hour deadline set under the deal with the Russian Federation for the terrorist organization PKK/YPG to withdraw from the safe zone has expired. We will establish through joint patrols whether or not the terrorists have actually withdrawn.”
