“We will embrace a stronger future once we achieve the goal of a terror-free Türkiye”

“We will embrace a stronger future once we achieve the goal of a terror-free Türkiye”

In a message on Eid al-Adha, President Erdoğan said: “We have placed the steps we have taken in the areas of economy, foreign policy and security on a firmer foundation with the process of a terror-free Türkiye. I believe that we will all embrace a stronger and more efficient future once we achieve the goal of a terror-free Türkiye in peace.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan issued the following message on Eid al-Adha:

“I wish these sacred days will lead to auspicious outcomes for our country, our nation, the Islamic world and the entire humanity. I pray to my Lord that your Qurbani donations, your prayers and your worships be accepted by my Lord.

May almighty Allah enable us to observe many Eids with health, peace, well-being and a sound heart.

“Climate of Eid is a productive atmosphere”

The Eids, when we refresh our spirit of unity and strengthen our solidarity, are also doors of abundance that open up to Allah’s blessing. The climate of Eid, which we as the nation breathe all together, is a productive atmosphere, where our senses of compassion and helping each other stand at the highest level.

I wholeheartedly believe that each and every one of our 86 million citizens will make the most of this atmosphere and beautify it with charity and benevolence activities.

I also greet with respect on my country and nation’s behalf our Palestinian brothers and sisters, who have been putting up an epic fight in Gaza and the occupied lands and displaying a dignified resistance in the face of Israel’s all the barbarities, and congratulate them from the bottom of my heart on Eid al-Adha.

I remember with grace all my Gazan brothers and sisters, who died a martyr’s death in the attacks, and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.

“I hope that the ongoing instabilities in different places end as soon as possible”

I hope that the ongoing instabilities in different places that are close to our hearts, Gaza, Sudan and Somalia in particular, end as soon as possible.

We as Türkiye do our utmost in order for the genocide in Palestine to be stopped, and for the war between Russia and Ukraine to be ended with a just peace. The meeting held in Istanbul on June 2 Monday was a historic step taken to end the bloody war that has entered its fourth year in our north.

We appreciate the struggle the new administration in our neighbor Syria has been putting out for the country’s national unity, territorial integrity and sustainable development. We believe that Syria will find lasting peace and return to its glorious days in the past with the help of all the brotherly countries.

“We see the positive effects of the macroeconomic stability and reform programme”

We are determinedly implementing the economy policies that will minimize the repercussions of the fluctuations in global markets on our country. We see the positive effects of the macroeconomic stability and reform programme in many areas, inflation in particular. Our fight against all kinds of problems, especially the high cost of living, which lower our citizens’ life standards, continue.

Likewise, we are rapidly healing the wounds caused by the disaster of the century. We have delivered the keys of the 201 thousand houses to our eligible disaster victims. With the additional 252 thousand structures, we will inshallah have handed over the keys of 453 thousand houses and workplaces to our quake-victim brothers and sisters by the new year.

“We will free our country all together from a 50-year-long scourge”

We have placed the steps we have taken in the areas of economy, foreign policy and security on a firmer foundation with the process of a terror-free Türkiye. After the organization’s decision to dissolve itself and lay down arms, we have entered a new phase. With the prayers of our august nation and the support of the political institution, we will inshallah free our country all together from a 50-year-long scourge in a short span of time. I would like to especially point out that we never have and never will allow any initiative that will torment the souls of our martyrs, or hurt our ghazis or the relatives of our martyrs. I believe that we will all embrace a stronger and more efficient future once we achieve the goal of a terror-free Türkiye in peace.

I would also like to express my grief over the main opposition becoming a party that could get on with no one in a period when we as the 86 million strengthen our eternal brotherhood and domestic front. Our hope is that the insistence on the wrong path will end as soon as possible and that Türkiye’s all colors can succeed in coming together especially during Eids. Because, as we state at billboards all across our country, ‘Our name is brotherhood, and our surname is Türkiye’.

“I ask all our citizens to obey traffic rules”

With these thoughts, I once again wish that Eid al-Adha will lead to auspicious outcomes for our country, nation and the entire humanity. I once again congratulate all my citizens and each and every one of my sisters and brothers in the geographies close to our hearts and in different countries of the world on Eid al-Adha. May my Lord accept the prayers and worships of all our brothers and sisters, who are in the sacred lands for their Hajj duties.

I especially ask all our citizens, who will hit the roads, to meticulously obey traffic rules. I once again greet you with respect and affection, and wish a happy Eid to all of you. Eid al-Adha Mubarak!”
