Noting that they have always spoken by actions over the past three decades starting from their time in office as the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, President Erdoğan stated that they have overcome obstacles to serve the nation rather than make excuses for incompetence.
Expressing his happiness to have left their mark on each and every one of the country’s 81 provinces, President Erdoğan said: “Today, the symbols of our politics of projects and services arise in every corner of Arnavutköy and Istanbul.”
Noting that they have implemented countless projects and services in Istanbul, President Erdoğan underlined: “We will continue to endeavor for you, for Istanbul, for our 85 million citizens with the understanding that those working with love do not get tired.”
“TÜRKİYE IS LOCATED IN A DIFFICULT GEOGRAPHY”
Pointing out that Türkiye is located in a difficult geography, surrounded by a ring of fire, President Erdoğan said: “The bloody war just across the Black Sea has completed its second year and entered its third year. Our neighbor Syria has been devoid of stability, peace and serenity for over 13 years. We are all following the ongoing genocide against innocent civilians in Gaza with our hearts torn apart. The atrocious terror attack perpetrated in Moscow demonstrates how critical the situation still is. It is visible that things will not settle down soon and that difficult days await our world.”
“WE WILL MAKE SURE ISTANBUL AND ITS DISTRICTS ARE WELL-PREPARED FOR EARTHQUAKE”
Following his speech in Arnavutköy, President Erdoğan made a speech in the Güngören district of Istanbul.
Stressing that they will make sure Istanbul and its districts are well-prepared for earthquake before it knocks on the city’s door as scientists constantly warn about, President Erdoğan said: “As a country that has lost its over 53 thousand citizens in the disaster of the century just a year ago, we cannot disregard the earthquake threat. We must indeed regard the earthquake issue as a matter that is above politics.”
Stating that they will make Istanbul more secure and more resilient through new projects, President Erdoğan said that Istanbul doesn’t tolerate negligence, complacency or apathy and that one must dedicate oneself to Istanbul to properly administer it.
