President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the party’s parliamentary group meeting in Ankara.
Drawing attention to the firm steps taken on the path to the terror-free Türkiye destination, President Erdoğan said: “Significant developments have taken place in this direction in the last two weeks. Hosting Mrs. Pervin Buldan, the Deputy Parliament Speaker and DEM Party Van Deputy, and Mr. Mithat Sancar, the DEM Party Şanlıurfa Deputy, at the Presidential Complex, we had a very productive meeting. We once again observed and reaffirmed that we share similar concerns about the continuation of the process with utmost diligence. It seems that we have reached a new junction on the path to the destination of a terror-free Türkiye and terror-free region. All must share the burden on this issue, support the process and make their utmost contributions. As the People’s Alliance, we are already doing our part, and will continue to do so.”
Noting that this process, with a little more courage, efforts and self-confidence, will be finalized successfully, President Erdoğan stressed: “Acting in total solidarity as the People’s Alliance, we will achieve our goal of a terror-free Türkiye and then a terror-free region.”
