President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the Turkish Contractors Association International Contracting Services Award Ceremony in Ankara.
President Erdoğan said: “While the world changes and new centers of power emerge in economy, production and technology, we have to adapt ourselves to this. Türkiye’s discovery of new routes to itself in foreign policy is not an effort to be criticized, but to be appreciated and praised. Asking, ‘What is Türkiye doing in Africa, Latin America or Asia?’ is a wrong analysis of global politics. We are aware that there are still those who insist on not understanding our foreign policy, our stance on regional and global matters, or who understand but insist on distorting it. We never pay heed to them. We take every opportunity to make Türkiye a regional and global center of gravity. We seek to keep the windows of opportunities open with every structure and actor amid the diversifying and increasing regional blocs in the international system.”
