Addressing citizens in Şırnak, President Erdoğan noted that 300 thousand people from Kobane and 4 million Syrian refugees are living in Turkey, and said: “Turkey is a country where anyone in trouble in its region takes shelter in. We open the doors of our country regardless of anyone’s ethnicity or sect.”
Making remarks on the upcoming local elections, President Erdoğan pointed out that they have introduced 10.5 billion Turkish liras’ worth of investments and services in Şırnak over the past 17 years in various areas including education, healthcare and sports.
