Speaking at an iftar dinner with farmers, President Erdoğan said: “We have taken our country to a pretty good level in agriculture despite all the hardships, difficulties and the negative circumstances caused by climate crisis. Agriculture in Türkiye is not finished, nor will it ever be finished even if some pin all their hopes on this. Quite the contrary, our country will go on to break countless more records in agriculture.”

President Erdoğan said: “Our support for the sector last year alone, including direct investments, loan supports, investment allocations, intervention purchases and export incentives totaled nearly TL706 billion. In 2026, our direct and indirect allocation to agriculture will amount to TL939 billion, which means that we will support our producers with a huge amount approximating TL1 trillion. We will stand by our farmers with the maxim ‘a strong Türkiye is through a strong agriculture.’”
