Speaking at a ceremony for the entry into service of divided roads, President Erdoğan said: “As one of the most distinguished airports in the world, Istanbul Airport has become a global brand in its own area. We have realized previously-unimaginable projects in maritime transport. And we have made history, so to speak, in road transport.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at a ceremony held for the the entry into service of the 30-thousandth-kilometer divided road at Haliç Congress Center in Istanbul.

We have realized previously-unimaginable projects in maritime transport. And we have made history, so to speak, in road transport.”
Stressing that the length of the divided roads in Türkiye when they took office was merely 6,101 kilometers, and only six cities were connected to each other through divided roads, President Erdoğan added: “We changed this picture that did not befit Türkiye and our nation. We launched the works without any delay, and have increased the length of our divided roads to 30,049 kilometers, and the number of cities that are connected to one another through divided roads to 77 in the past 23 years.”
