Addressing citizens during the opening ceremony of multiple facilities in Bayburt, President Erdoğan said: “We determinedly continue our fight against inflation. We will never tolerate the greedy and opportunists.”

“We have acquired the opportunity to serve our country for another five years in the second term of the Presidential Government System by the will of our august nation. After having formed our cabinet swiftly, we have already started to meet our nation’s demands and solve our country’s problems. Indeed, we have given many good news to various groups of the society including minimum-wage employees, civil servants, farmers, and the youth,” the President said.
Noting that the bill for raising retirement pensions by 25 percent was submitted to the parliament yesterday as the latest example of the steps the country has been taking in its fight against inflation, President Erdoğan underscored that the government has been honoring its promise to not allow pensioners to be overburdened by inflation by means of pension raises above the inflation, and added: “We determinedly continue our fight against inflation. We will never tolerate the greedy and opportunists.”
